This week's Badass Chick is Lori Greenberg, a multi-time cancer survivor raising money and awareness via Be Bold, Be Bald today.

In 2009 at the age of 29, Lori was diagnosed with malignant melanoma. She was a single mom and thought to herself "nope -- I don't have time for this." So she took care of it with two surgeries and thought she'd move on. After her experience, she first participated in the Be Bold, Be Bald campaign -- where people wear a bald cap for the day to raise awareness and money for cancer charities -- just because she knew other people had it worse than her, and she wanted to help.

But Lori's cancer story wasn't over, because over the next few years, she would be diagnosed with malignant melanoma six more times. To make matters worse, her mom was diagnosed with ovarian cancer and participated in Be Bold, Be Bald with Lori each year. Her mom lost her battle in 2014 and Lori's dad took over the Be Bold, Be Bald tradition because it was too hard for her at the time. But today marks her first year returning to the fundraiser, so she'll be putting on a bald cap and raising money throughout the day.
