Chef and owner of Tapestry

Loren's Badass Chick

This week's Badass Chick is Meghann Ward, chef and owner of Tapestry

Meghann's got a cool story because she had gone to school for - and was working in - healthcare when she realized she was focusing all of her free time on cooking. Soon, her hobby became her passion and at 25, Meghann decided to leave her job and get a job at a teaching kitchen. She worked her ass off for three and a half years, worked in San Francisco for a few years and came back to Boston to start the next phase of her chef life.

In 2016, Meghann opened Tapestry with her family and tries to spend as much of her free time as possible giving back to great organizations like No Kid Hungry, Share our Strength and Silver Lining, which is a mentorship program to help kids transition out of foster care.
