Badass Chick Lindsay Tia

This week's Badass Chick is entrepreneur Lindsay Tia, owner of The Cue and creator of Bravery Brand

Lindsay comes from a family of entrepreneurs and she studied fashion merchandising in college, so it's no surprise that when Lindsay graduated, she wanted to open her own business. Lindsay began by working out of her parents' basement designing and selling her own hand bags on an old ping pong table. After much trial and error, she eventually opened her very own fashion boutique in Dorchester called The Cue (a nod to where she grew up: Quincy).

My favorite part about Lindsay's story is that she has created the Bravery Brand line of hand bags accessories, and a portion of the proceeds give back to charity. In addition to her American flag Bravery Bag, the Bravery Band is a stylish cuff that lets people rock their courage, showcase their bravery and serve as a reminder that they can get through anything. Whether it's got the word "Brave," the American flag, or something else etched in it, it's a reminder to anyone fighting any sort of battle that they're strong enough to handle it. So far, she has raised over $18,000 for charitable causes and is releasing a new cuff next month which will give back to the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

Lindsay's boutique, The Cue, is expanding to Legacy Place in Dedham August 24th and she's created a Bravery Corner which will allow people to share their own stories of bravery. Plus she's got tons of cute fashion and very Insta-worthy photo-ops. To learn more about her Bravery Brand, click here
