Loren's Badass Chick

I am out on maternity leave, but each week I have a new Badass Chick for you! If you have any recommendations for Badass Chick, please email me when I return to the air. In the mean time, be sure to follow me on social @LorenRaye and I'll be back before you know it!

This week's Badass Chick is Elizabeth Oliver of Middleborough, author of Bitch Language

Like a lot of us, Eliizabeth began to get sick and tired of the way that we judge others -- especially the way that women judge other women. She took a step back and really started to evaluate how she was treating other women in her life and wanted to change the conversation and emphasize working together, rather than tearing one another down.

Elizabeth started writing her book last year and even though she was afraid that no one wanted to hear what she had to say, she published the book herself last April. It's a super easy read and it's quite honest: we all judge other people. It's so crucial for us to remember that everyone's got a story. So if we could just take a step back and try to empathize with others, perhaps we would be far more encouraging to one another!
