The game will take place on February 2, 2020 at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami Gardens, Florida, but what people are talking the most about is which artist will be selected to perform the Halftime Show. There are new reports that Shakira is in talks to play, but there is A LOT of information swirling that is leading people to believe Jennifer Lopez may be the lucky one.

Hollywood Life revealed an exclusive piece today claiming that her deal to perform is "nearly done" and that it is "her dream" to perform the show. What I find interesting is that a lot of major news outlets haven't jumped on this story -- I wouldn't believe it to be 100%. Regardless, there have been talks from other outlets that J Lo is in the running, so it's definitely a possibility. Additionally, the singer recently fueled rumors with a new NFL promo she posted on Instagram.

Now that Jay-Z has been hired as a producer for the show and will work closely with the NFL regarding music, us fans can expect an incredible show this year. Although we don't know who is performing yet it's fun to think about the idea of it being J Lo.

The "Luh Ya Papi" visionary is an INCREDIBLE artist who delivers show stopping performances. Every aspect of what she does is a perfect fit for what is required of a Halftime Show performer -- vocals, choreography, outfits, vibe, music, personality, and more. There are very few artists that can truly handle the Super Bowl stage and make it their own and she is right at the top of that list. Plus, her music is loved by people of all ages, which is important since the show is watched by millions of people. The amount of HITS she is mind-blowing -- not just songs, but HITS!

Personally, I think J Lo would be a fantastic choice and simply thinking about the idea is getting me excited for what she could do. If she is selected, I just really hope the NFL gives her an extended set time so she can cram in as many hits as possible.

Also, she has a plethora of different features throughout her career which would allow her to amp up her performance by bringing some of them out: Cardi B, Nas, Ja Rule, LL Cool J, Pitbull, Iggy Azalea, and the list goes on...

What do you think? Would you like to see Jennifer Lopez headline the Super Bowl 54 Halftime Show?
