This is why we all love Rihanna!

The singer was recently interviewed for a Vogue cover story and the author, Abby Aguirre, has been making headlines. The author revealed in the story that the interview had been moved up a few times, which allowed her less time to prepare. She confesses, "normally I bring a list of questions, but I didn’t have time to prepare one" to which Riri had an iconic response: "Aren't we all?"

People started blasting Aguirre on social media because of this. The general consensus was how does one not prepare for an interview with Rihanna??? The comments were misguided and no one understood the fact she had to conduct this interview on such short notice.

Now, in a recent interview with WWD, the "Diamonds" visionary is coming to defense of Aguirre. After learning of the backlash, she said, "wait, wait, what?" Then continued, "No, no, no, no. That’s gangster. For you to get a call the day before being like, ‘Hey, Rihanna’s in L.A., you wanna do this?’ And show up on the dime and write an incredible article that I’m really proud of and enjoyed reading? She’s badass for that."

Everyone on social media is immensely critical and lots of times not knowledgable about the work that goes into much of the content we consume. Rihanna is a legend for coming to the defense of the Vogue writer.

Props to Abby for pulling off an inredible interview at the drop of a hat, and have it be Rihanna approved -- not every one can do that!
