According to Billboard, Sony and R. Kelly have agreed to part ways.

The news follows the Surviving R. Kelly documentary series, which sheds light on allegations of sexual misconduct against the singer. "After the debut of the Lifetime series, protests against Kelly began to ramp up, with #MuteRKelly protests outside the Sony building in Manhattan on Wednesday, and artists such as Lady Gaga, Chance The Rapper and Phoenix apologizing for collaborating with the singer."

Lady Gaga has removed her "Do What U Want" collaboration from all streaming platforms and the Pussycat Dolls have also removed their collab "Out Of This Club" as well. #MuteRKelly protests have expanded since the release of Surviving R Kelly.

Their about page states, "In July of 2017, the resurgence of new sexual abuse allegations against R. Kelly prompted Atlanta Arts Administrator, Oronike Odeleye to take action and start a petition to get R. Kelly’s music off of Atlanta airwaves."
