This is a huge improvement on Causeway Street!

Yesterday, the Pedestrian Tunnel opened up at North Station, which makes it much easier for commuters to connect on the Orange, Green Line, and commuter rail trains. Most importantly, this allows users to transfer lines without having to go outside!

It can get very difficult to cross the busy intersections outside of North Station, so this tunnel will also help to speed up foot traffic in the area. According to the Boston Globe, "the tunnel is wedged between the Orange and Green line tunnels, and surfaces inside the station lobby at one end, and the T station across Causeway at the other. There will be elevators and an escalator for riders."

This is one of many changes/improvements happening by the TD Garden and commuters seem to be loving it so far!
