GOOD LUCK To All The Runners In The 2019 Boston Marathon!

April 15, 2019

Unfortunately, it's a wet start to the 123rd Boston Marathon....

We want to wish GOOD LUCK everyone running the race! After months of hard work and dedication, the day has finally arrived where runners will be trekking from Hopkinton down to Boylston street in the heart of the city. The weather is in the mid-50s and it seems like the rain is starting to led up and should clear out late rin the day.

Last year, Des Linden was the first American woman to win since 1985 and she'll be defending her title again. Can she clinch a second title in a row?! Everyone is watching to see if she can do it!

According to the BAA, here is the schedule for when every wave starts. The men’s push rim wheelchair division starts the race at 9:02 a.m., followed two minutes later by the women’s push rim division, and then the handcycle and duo competitors at 9:25 a.m. The elite women’s field crosses the starting line at 9:32 a.m., and the elite men start at 10. The rest of the runners are broken down into groups, with Wave One starting at 10:02 a.m., Wave Two at 10:25 a.m., and Waves Three and Four going together at 10:30 a.m. because of weather related changes.
