Emma Watson isn't turning 30 until April, but has already dealt with the anxiety of a new decade being right around the corner.

Though she doesn't consider the age "a big deal", she explains her stress at age 29 to British Vogue.

"Cut to 29, and I'm like, 'Oh my God, I feel so stressed and anxious.' And I realize it's because there is suddenly this bloody influx of subliminal messaging around."

She refers to the anxiety of the expectations of building a home, having stability in your career, and having a husband and a baby.

Watson credits her friends for being good at setitng her up on dates, but says she has found happiness being her own partner.

"I never believed the whole 'I'm happy single' spiel," she said in the interview. "I was like, ‘This is totally spiel.' It took me a long time, but I'm very happy. I call it being self-partnered."

So if you feel like being "single" has a negative connotation, take a page for Emma Watson's book and be proud of being "self-partnered!"
