Ariana Grande had to cancel two shows in Florida this week due to an “unfortunate” allergic reaction to tomatoes.

After revealing in an Instagram story on Tuesday that she was “incredibly sick” and had been advised by her doctor not to perform her next two shows, fans were left wondering if the “Thank U, Next” singer was okay. Meanwhile, Grande was left feeling “so beyond devastated.”

Grande was quick to give her fans some answers on Wednesday, letting them know that Live Nation would be honoring their tickets for postponed shows in November. She also revealed that her ailments were due to an allergic reaction to tomatoes.

“Update: …I had an unfortunate allergic reaction to tomatoes and my throat pretty much closed,” she writes. “Still feels like I’m swallowing a cactus but slowly making progress!”

Being a Florida native herself, Grande was devastated to learn that she wasn’t well enough to perform in either Tampa or Orlando this week. She ended her post by revealing her one true frustration through all of this.

“P.s. there is NOTHING MORE UNFAIR THAN AN ITALIAN WOMAN DEVELOPING AN ALLERGY TO TOMATOES IN HER MID TWENTIES…,” she writes.
