Meryl Streep Joins Big Little Lies
Meryl Streep has joined the cast of Big Little Lies for season 2, which is a huge deal. Big Little Lies has done REALLY well this awards season, and she’s going to be coming back as the mother-in-law of Nicole Kidman’s character. That’s all I’ll say. We don’t know much more, but I don’t want to spoil anything for anyone who’s currently watching.
Mila Kunis Asked to Reject Hasty Pudding Award
Oh boy. Mila Kunis is set to be honored today in Cambridge by Harvard’s Hasty Pudding Troupe… but the women in the troupe have called upon Mila not to accept the award. The troupe, ever since its inception, has followed the Shakespearean era rules of only allowing men to perform on stage, not women. Many women have been auditioning in protest since 2015… and they’re allowed to work behind the scenes. But these women want Mila to help them out so that they can perform on stage.

Skittles Hires David Schwimmer for Super Bowl Ad
I told you last week that Skittles is doing a Super Bowl ad that only ONE person, a teenage kid from California, is going to get to see. And we can watch his reaction on Facebook Live. Anyway… Skittles has hired David Schwimmer from Friends to star in a series of “fake” Super Bowl ad teasers. All of them have sort of an 80s feel.
Bradley Cooper’s Internship Writings go Viral
Back in the day, Bradley Cooper was just an 18-year-old intern at the Philadelphia Daily News… and he was allowed to write an article about how he’s dating his friends friend. Or, at least, just hooking up with her. One of my favorite paragraphs: “when it began, I felt dating would be weird, but I am amazed at how everything just sort of flows. It is very relaxed between us.” Riveting stuff.
