MGM Resorts Donates $3M to Vegas Victims
MGM Resorts which owns the Mandalay Bay Resort and Casino, has announced a $3M donation to the relief effort in the wake of the shooting which happened on their property. It will fund humanitarian assistance for families of the victims and first responders.
OJ Simpson Chilling in Style After Release
If you’re wondering what OJ Simpson has been doing… not much, really. He’s hanging out at his friend’s house 20 minutes from las Vegas… which is 5,000 square feet, with 5 bedrooms, 5 and a half bathrooms, a pool, hot tub and his own private putting green. Oh, and he’s been doing autograph sessions.
Pink Coming to TD Garden, Releasing Apple Music Movie
Pink is set to release a short film on Apple Music called On the Record: Pink — Beautiful Trauma. It’s going to focus on her upcoming album of the same name. There will be performances, interviews and behind-the-scenes footage. PS, she’s coming to TD Garden April 9th.
Ellen & Oprah Go Grocery Shopping
Ellen and Oprah teamed up to go grocery shopping, and surprise one lucky onlooker by coming to her house and cooking her dinner. Pretty awesome. Turns out, Oprah touches produce as much as you do, TJ. Ellen at one point got on the loud speaker to embarrass Oprah.
Katy Perry Remembers Auditioning for Gigs
Katy Perry said that she doesn’t want to be nasty to people auditioning for American Idol… she said it was hard at first to find nice ways to say no and offer up constructive criticism. She also said that all of the judges – her, Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie – have walked into a room like that to audition at one time in their lives, so she tries to remember that.
Pitbull Receiving Latin AMA Achievement Award
Pitbull was just announced as the first-ever recipient of the Latin AMA Dick Clark Achievement Award at the third annual Latin American Music Awards. They’re taking place October 26th. Pitbull will not only be accepting the award, but also debut his new song during the show as well. The award celebrates a Latin artist who inspires people with their dedication to music and uses his platform to help those in need.

Mariah Carey is Not a Diva! (Says ONE Person Only)
One human being on the entire planet is coming to Mariah Carey’s defense, and saying that she actually isn’t a diva. A guy who was in the band Westlife, who is a longtime friend of Mariah’s, claims that she’s so down to earth that she once ate Chinese food sitting on the floor of their friend’s apartment. OK then. I just love that this is a story. That this person was like, I have to tell the world that she is super down to earth. It is my mission.
Kesha Opens Up About Eating Disorder
Kesha played House of Blues last night. She is also in Rolling Stone and talked about battling her eating disorder in the past, saying “I really just thought I wasn’t supposed to eat food. And then if I ever did, I felt very ashamed, and I would make myself throw up because I’d think, ‘Oh, my God, I can’t believe I actually did that horrible thing. I’m so ashamed of myself because I don’t deserve to eat food.”

The Red Sox apparently racked up a $15k bar tab at Bijou the other night after clinching the AL East. Players Hanley Ramirez, Mookie Betts and Chris Sale were spotted partying.
Kimmel Hosting Letterman, Stern in New York
Jimmy Kimmel is set to do his show from Brooklyn the week of October 16th, and he’s got some serious guests lined up. Perhaps the biggest? David Letterman. Billy Joel will be joining him that week, as well as Howard Stern, Tracy Morgan and Amy Schumer.
