Kristen Bell Performs for Kids in Irma Shelter
Kristen Bell, who of course played Anna in Frozen, is in Florida waiting out the impact of Hurricane Irma and not only did she help her Frozen co-star Josh Gad’s family find shelter in a safer area than their home, but Kristen also showed up to a shelter and performed Frozen songs for kids while they prepared for the storm.

“It” Finds Box Office Success
Stephen King’s movie adaptation of his book “It” had the third-best opening weekend of any movie for 2017. Beauty and the Beast still holds the first spot, followed by Guardians of the Galaxy 2 in second. “It” brought in over $117M this weekend.

Beyonce, Jennifer Garner Visit Houston
Many celebrities traveled to Houston this weekend to help in the Hurricane Harvey recovery and to meet displaced families. Beyonce, Blue Ivy, her mom and Destiny’s Child bandmate Michelle Williams visited Beyonce’s old church. They chatted with Harvey survivors, handed out food, took selfies and offered hugs. Jennifer Garner visited shelters and handed out supplies to displaced families as well.

Rihanna Makes PUMA Employee “Famous”
Some poor kid who works at a PUMA outlet was complaining about a customer, tweeting “I hate working retail. This lady really gonna throw a fit because we don’t sell Fenty Beauty. First of all, you’re at a PUMA outlet store.” So Rihanna retweeted it and captioned it “tweet of the week” with the shrug emoji… and the kid’s more than tripled. He later thanked Rihanna for making him famous. Ha!

Dave Chappelle and Melissa McCarthy won Emmys this weekend for their Saturday Night Live performances. Dave won for best guest actor when he did the show right after the election, and Melissa won for best guest actress where she did her Sean Spicer impression.

Lady Gaga Announces Break from Music
Lady Gaga announced this weekend that she’s going to be taking a break from music for a bit next year. Gaga said that while she plans to take her break, she still has a few tricks up her sleeve for fans — but she wants to take the time to reflect and slow down and heal.
