This week’s Badass Chick is AC Orellana of East Providence, RI. She’s the creator of @StrongGirlVibes which aims to empower women and girls.

AC is a graphic designer who is also a single mom to a daughter, and knows how important it is to not only build up confidence in young girls but also support fellow women. After a really bad day, she thought to herself, “I’m done with this, I don’t want to feel this way, I can be better than this.” So she took her graphic design skills over to Etsy and social media, with a simple idea: to make empowering prints and mugs with badass sayings like “she needed a hero so that’s what she became.” On social media, she offers a place of encouragement, and her message is really simple: we have to build ourselves – and each other – up.

It’s simple, it’s sweet and her prints are really cute. Check out her Etsy shop and her Facebook.

Loren’s Badass Chick of the Week highlights local women and girls giving back to the community, following their passion and/or breaking stereotypes. If YOU have a Badass Chick you want to see highlighted, email!
