We’re giving you a new drink recipe every week with the AMP Liquid Mix!

Whether you’re getting ready to go out on a Saturday or daydrinking through Sunday, come back to and follow us on Twitter to see what you should be serving at your party each weekend!

Here’s one for all the gin drinkers out there. I am not one of you, but I’m also not one to discriminate based on alcohol type.

Gin usually just makes me feel like I’m drinking a pine cone, but when you add some complimentary flavors – mint, lemon, maybe a bit of fruit – it can actually be one of the most refreshing drinks you can find.

Hence, the Blueberry Hard Lemonade.

Mix it with the Boston Tea Party for a powerful Arnold Palmer. (No, seriously, if you do that, take extreme caution. That’s mixing a whole lot of liquors.)

Blueberry Hard Lemonade

From Tablespoon

You’ll need:

2 tablespoons fresh blueberries
1 tablespoons fresh lemon juice
2 fresh mint leaves
ice cubes
2 tablespoons gin (1 oz)
1/2 cup ginger ale or lemon-lime soda
lemon wedges, blueberries, and/or fresh mint for garnish

Here’s how you make it:

1. Muddle the blueberries, lemon juice, and mint leaves in a glass. If you don’t have a muddler…I would just use the end of a wooden spoon, but I’m super professional at this.

2. Fill the glass with ice, and pour the gin over the ice.

3. Top with ginger ale (or Sprite, or some kind of clear soda).

4. Garnish with blueberries, lemon, and mint if desired.
