Loren’s Badass Chick: Holly Brown

This week’s Badass Chick is Holly Brown, local aesthetician and creator of Looking + Feeling FAB, which provides skin care, products and education to people with cancer, Multiple Sclerosis, Lupus, ALS and Parkinson’s Disease.

For 14 years, Holly has been living with MS and recently had her lymph nodes removed before being diagnosed with Sarcoidosis. After her diagnosis, she started receiving chemotherapy treatments and saw how it wrecked havoc on her skin. As a licensed aesthetician, she knew she could do something about this and she began studying oncology aesthetics. Once she received her training in Arizona, she was ready to make an impact.

In 2013, she established Looking + Feeling FAB and has been able to provide treatments for many fighters and survivors. Her services are open to everyone, and all you have to do is fill out a form on her web site and have your doctor sign off on the treatment.

I love that Holly has been able to take her passion and use it for good. She has also been able to take her attention off of her own current health challenges by helping others, and she says it helps her to keep her own life in perspective. Holly Brown is my Badass Chick of the Week!
